Ubuntu 11.10 Blank Screen with underline after boot with VMWare Fusion
After installing the latest version of Ubuntu Server with VMWare Fusion, I wasn’t able to get to a terminal. The machine would boot and then just give me a blank line with a single underscore. Turns out all I needed to do was switch from TTY7.
CMD + OPT + CTL + [F1 - F7]
